I am Aaron Tognoli, a PhD student in Information Technology at Politecnico di Milano, working at the Smart Eyewear Lab and AIRLab. My research explores neuromorphic sensors, event-based cameras and lightweight neural networks for wearable devices.

Applied research at the intersection of AI and constrained hardware

My doctoral project focuses on lightweight algorithms for eye tracking on embedded platforms and smart eyewear, with attention to event-based sensors, data simulation, domain adaptation and real-time deployment on resource-constrained hardware.
